Attend the SLCC Chapbook InformationalMeeting:   Tues Nov. 13    12-1:30 p.m. at Taylorsville Redwood Campus,AD 226-Come ask questions regarding the contest, havean editor look over your manuscript, get a free copy of last year’s winner,Translation by Hana Jabr, and enjoy a snack.
SLCC students and alumni are invited to submitpoetry manuscripts to the SLCC Publication Center Chapbook Contest.
Submissions must be a collection of poems inany style and manuscripts should be between 15 and 30 poems. Each submissionwill be judged by Joel Long whose book Winged Insects won theWhite Pine Press Poetry Prize and the awardees receive a prize. 
The Chapbook will be printed and distributedon SLCC campuses and in local bookstores and there will be a Chapbook readingand publication party in Spring 2013.
Submission deadline is Mon., Nov. 26, 2012.
The winner receives 25 copies of the SLCC PublicationCenter Chapbook and $100 honorarium and may also choose to work with SLCC PublicationStudies students to produce a limited run of 10 copies of their manuscript.
